Morning and welcome to the start of another week ....

Morning readers,

It's going to be a funny old day today; I'm catching up with a pal this morning at a coffee shop, we'll chat and put the world to right but then, we will be heading off to a funeral. Wish us luck, this is the mum of one of our oldest friends, someone we grew up knowing and will miss tremendously.

I thought about not posting a make today but .......I still had some card fronts from my retreat in November! I eventually decided that I would, but I shan't be entering my make for any challenges.

Thanks for looking peeps

It's Saturday .....

Hi there readers,

Been a busy week, as they all are in the run up to Christmas. I've been wrapping presents, putting up decorations, trying to juggle my diary to see everyone, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but I do at least have a meal with my cousin and a pal booked for January; definitely something to look forward to in the post Christmas "lull". Had a nice lunch with friends yesterday ... main course a little disappointing but the dessert was TO DIE FOR!, friends we don't catch up with anywhere near as often as we should but .. busy lives and all that. It almost seemed like it might not happen though, as we woke up to white roads and snow coming down but ... thankfully, it stopped a little after 9am and the sun came out!

You know me though, I can almost always find time to craft! Been stuck in a bit of a Christmas or Birthday card rut (I blame new stash and, well ... Christmas, for that) so thought I'd try for an anniversary card ready for the start of 2018!

Friday! Woo Hoo - it's almost the weekend!

Morning readers,

Good week? Have the festivities started with you?

Got a card to share with you today .... no idea why but .. it's a Christmas card!! No, literally, no idea as I've not only made all mine but I've written them all too (sorry if that sounds smug but it's by way of explanation) - guess I'm working on 2018 then! I didn't like this card when I'd stamped it and it sat on the unit for the best part of a week. A fellow MFT enthusiast came to call and remarked that she liked it so, I gave it a chance and coloured it - MUCH HAPPIER now it's been coloured, what do you think? I can't even tell you what it was that I didn't like about it, after all, the bears are super cute and the tree is pretty and it (surely) can't have been the sentiment but ....

When I saw the Malle Room's challenge was for a masculine Christmas card this just image called me to the ToC as it had previously been NBUS .... Darnell would be so proud of me!

Wednesday, 6 December 2017

Welcome to Wednesday ..

Morning readers,

How's the week coming along? If you're anything like me you are struggling to fit everything in right now, all the people wanting to "catch up before Christmas", we've a number of Christmas meals too - not good for the waistline but always so good to catch up with family and friends.

Tried a new Indian restaurant last night, with a pal. It was VERY nice, we'd be happy to go again, just don't tell Raj, the proprietor of our regular haunt! When we arrived there were just two tables occupied and it was SO nice not to be seated next to either as is so often the case - look forward to trying other dishes on their menu.

Anyhoo, I've a little crafting to share with you today and I hope you like it ...... and it's NOT A CHRISTMAS CARD! I appear to be currently obsessed with little bears!
