Welcome to the weekend

Hi there,

Been at the ToC (that's Table of Craftiness to those unfamiliar with the term) and come up with these makes ....

I used the FABULOUS Santa image (by Habico in both large and small) quite a b it when I first got it a few months ago so wanted to do something slightly different with it. I'm also still getting used to my polychromos pencils so wanted to see how they performed on kraft card so ...

My card
The front and back of my card and front of my envelope
The inside of my card and reverse of my envelope
Materials used:
  • C6 kraft, 300gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • HABICO Christmas sets featuring the large and small Santa, which I stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • MFT sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils and Kaisercraft metallic glitter gel pens used to add colour to the kraft card
  • Plaid dimensional gloss to add "glass" to Santa's specs
  • Stardust stickles to add a sparkle to Santa's beard

I'll be entering this for the following challenges:-

  1. Winter Wonderland - April 28th challenge - ADD SOME SPARKLE OR BLING
  2. Chrimbo Crackers - challenge No. 131 - KRAFT CARD
  3. Loves to Craft - challenge No. 9 - ANYTHING GOES

And then it was on to this one ..

Materials used:

  • A2/C6 white, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of card (one white and one grey) cut to 5" x 4"
  • One piece of white card cut to 4¾" x 3¾"
  • Penny Black image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink and 2nd generation stamping, to creat a kind of shadow
  • Clearly Wordsworth sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival watering can ink
  • Stampers Anonymous splatter image partially (and randomly) stamped using Hero Arts neon yellow ink, to break up the stark monochrome
  • Stardust stickles to bling it up a bit

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 326 - SHADOW
  2. Rubber Dance Art Stamps - April challenge - BLACK/WHITE + ONE

Two wonderful cards Kathy and I simply adore the look of the Santa on kraft card and all the fabulous sparkle and bling, and the PB stamp looks great in mainly black and that little bit of yellow just lifts it. x

super cards Kathy, that Santa stamp is so versatile (well he is in your hands, at my house he's much more retiring)
